Surrogate Qualifications

  • The Ideal Surrogates are between the ages of 21-35;
  • They must have given a live birth;
  • They have had uncomplicated pregnancies and deliveries;
  • They are well height and weight proportionate (BMI must be under 33);
  • They must have had experienced a full-term pregnancy and delivery;
  • They have the support of their spouse or partner (when applicable);
  • They are willing to adhere to all contractual and medical obligations throughout the process;
  • They must be able to pass a background check successfully;
  • They have read and understood the Surrogacy process in great detail;
  • They are willing to take medications via injection (when instructed by the doctors);
  • They should not smoke or take illegal drugs, or be exposed to second hand smoke;
  • They should be willing to refrain from alcohol throughout the medical process and pregnancy;
  • They do not have any sexually transmitted diseases that would subject her or the child she is carrying to physical harm;
  • They do not have any psychiatric illness or take medications for depression or anxiety;
  • They have not done any tattoos or piercings within the past 12 months;
  • They enjoy pregnancy and be motivated and cheerful by the wish to help others create or add to their family;
