All intended parents are invited for a free consultation that lasts approximately 1 hour. After you request for a consultation, we’ll ask you to fill out a basic online questionnaire; this will assist us in tailoring information to meet your specific needs, since everyone’s case and situation is different. All information provided in this questionnaire is kept strictly private and confidential, and are not used beyond research purposes at Pons Medical.
During consultations, intended parents typically meet with our process coordinator to review our programs and protocols. We will also ask that you share your story with our program team. We like to hear how you want children and how you came to surrogacy, what your support system looks like, whether friends or family know you’re interested in surrogacy, how you will prepare for your child once your surrogate becomes pregnant, etc. This is a very important part of the consultation..
We will ensure that the consultation helps you understand the detailed surrogacy process and what is involved. We understand that this consultation can be an overwhelming experience for you. And we also know that there are many questions and emotions involved. After all, it is one of the biggest decisions that you will make in your life!
After your consultation, if you would like to proceed with the program, we will request you some medical and legal documents necessary to start the process.
